Engineering & Project Management

  • Altamira engineer’s have led the installation and start-up of a new volumetric filler in the Los Angeles Brewery for Anheuser-Busch. This has allowed ABI to meet the increased demand for sleek can production while achieving significant savings in beer loss. In addition Altamira is leading projects at the ABI Newark Brewery to install sleek can production and modernize a bottle line.

  • Altamira has been the project lead for Constellation Brands in the design, procurement, installation and start-up for eight turnkey lines at the world’s largest brewery in Nava Mexico. This has allowed Constellation Brands to meet the increasing demand of their brands in the USA.

  • Altamira has managed the transition of chemical suppliers for Anheuser-Busch and Lagunitas Brewing Company.

  • Altamira has provided the complete plan and design for the packaging and warehouse operations for the Constellation Brands greenfield brewery in Mexicali Mexico.

  • Altamira led the project to design and procure a new 300 cans/minute can line and a 300* keg/hr. keg line for Free Flow Wines in Sonoma CA. This included, capacity modeling, equipment choice, line design and lay-out, and line performance specifications for procurement. This has allowed Free Flow to raise their status of a premiere co-packer in the Wine Industry.

  • Altamira has provided services for equipment selection, vendor evaluation, MPS, FAT’s, SAT’s along with start-up schedules for large companies such as Constellation Brands along with smaller companies such as Alaskan Brewing, Free Flow Wines and Vertical Distilling.

  • Altamira experts have provided evaluation and plans for warehouse management systems such as high density storage and warehouse automation.

Operations Support

  • Altamira has provided line audits which have improved line throughput for a number of companies including Anheuser-Busch, Lagunitas Brewing, Keurig/Dr. Pepper and Pepsi.

  • Altamira has developed maintenance programs for new equipment for Anheuser-Busch and new lines for Constellation Brands. In addition we have provided maintenance assessments for equipment at Elysian Brewing.

  • Altamira has provided multiple SOP development for lines and equipment and processes for Anheuser-Busch, Constellation Brands and Lagunitas Brewing. These include operations, conversions, cleaning and maintenance.

  • Altamira has provided production modeling to determine needed line capacities for many clients such as Constellation Brands, Free Flow Wines, Alaskan Brewing and Vertical Distilling.

  • Altamira has provided a number of quality functions for various companies. These include facility and food health audits for Anheuser-Busch and new line qualifications for 10 Barrel Brewing, Karbach Brewing, Four Peaks Brewing, Devils Backbone Brewing and Wicked Weed Brewing.

  • Altamira has provided expertise to optimize trailer weights and troubleshoot quality issues with transportation of products for Anheuser-Busch.

Equipment & Technical Services

  • Altamira technicians provide seamer analysis, set-up, tooling replacement, audits and troubleshooting for a number of Pepsi, Keurig/Dr. Pepper and Monster facilities across the USA, along with Labatt’s in Canada. In addition, Altamira technicians have traveled to South Korea to support Metal Container customers’ seamer conversions of a new lid design.

  • Altamira technicians have provided troubleshooting, set-up, audits and rebuilds for numerous fillers for Anheuser-Busch, Pepsi, Brooklyn Bottling, Elysian Brewing, Health-Ade Kombucha and Labatt’s.

  • Altamira provides packer troubleshooting, set-up and modifications for case packers for Anheuser-Busch and their co-packers.

  • Altamira staff has world class knowledge of pasteurizers and pasteurization. We have provided design modifications for a flash pasteurizer at Lagunitas Brewing and guidance for a new flash pasteurizer for Alaska Brewing. Altamira was instrumental in redesigning a tunnell pasteurizer for NorCal Beverage which resulted in significant improvement in line throughput and utility efficiencies. Due to this success, NorCal returned to Altamira to guide decisions on purchasing an additional pasteurizer.
